I grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and found my passion for sports at a young age. Growing up, I played softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and gymnastics. I am an energetic, fun-loving, and detail oriented person.
Being an athlete all my life, I have been surrounded by media, photography, and writing. When I first went to college, I was an education major and quickly realized that I did not want to spend my life in a classroom. I want to be involved with social media and photography, in any regard, for as long as possible. I took advantage of my opportunity as an athlete and combined that with my professional skills to start, and manage, social media pages for Slippery Rock Softball and work as an intern with Morehead State Athletics and Playa Society.
I am proficient in Adobe applications, including but not limited to PremierPro, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I am also familiar with applications such as GameChanger and Athletes Go Live. I have a high knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, SnapChat, and TikTok. I have used Asana, SproutSocial, Slack, and other platforms for business.
I gradated from Morehead State University with a BA in Strategic Communication. I finished college with a 3.92 GPA at the age of 21.
I started playing competitive softball when I was 9 years old and traveled across the country competing. I ended up getting a scholarship to play DII softball. After two years, I decided to transfer and received a scholarship to play DI softball. I continue to share my knowledge for the game through coaching. I regularly work clinics for The Sandlot LLC and was on staff as a coach for Team Pennsylvania for three years.
